ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS AND PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Engage in weekly departmental meetings to strategize on acquiring new business, address open issues, analyze customer spending trends, and pinpoint target areas.
- Proactively seek out and re-engage lost customers and regularly visit assigned clients.
- Develop and manage a customer distribution list for parts and service promotions.
- Coordinate vendor product and technical training sessions.
- Oversee truck wreck quotations and cultivate new business by consulting with truck body shops.
- Enhance customer engagement with MAPP, Select, PartsASIST, IBS, MVP, and CEM survey systems.
- Deliver market intelligence to management, including insights on pricing, products, and competitor movements.
- Collaborate with department heads to swiftly resolve customer concerns.
- Manage the distribution and collection of special tools as requested by customers.
- Provide on-site technical support to drive sales growth.
- Stay updated with parts and service training to offer cutting-edge solutions.
- Facilitate fleet training for customers and ensure a seamless experience.
- Document daily activities and report to department managers.
- Follow up on parts orders and truck repairs to guarantee customer satisfaction.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience:
- A High School Diploma is mandatory
- Proven ability to establish credibility and foster robust relationships.
- Experience in developing and executing successful sales strategies.
- Proficient in industry-specific language and familiar with trucking terminology.
- Knowledgeable in J-Pro, ASIST, IBS, MAPP, and Pulse Software.
- Exceptional customer service skills are necessary.
- Strong interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
