Assistant Account Manager – Allentown, PA
JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Account Manager is employed to supply key accounts and account managers with an unmatched level of parts and service support while demonstrating a passion for our organizations and the brands we represent
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS AND PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Participate in weekly department meetings to identify conquest business, open issues, customer spending trends, and define routes and areas to target
- Be the internal point of contact for key accounts and account managers
- Research and recover lost customers
- Review & Process all PartsASIST Orders
- Direct contact for conquest and strategic customers for Allentown, Stroudsburg, and Blue Mountain locations
- Assist AM with building opportunity and conquest pipeline
- Assist AM with facilitating team vendor product and technical training
- Manage, maintain, and increase customer integration of PartsASIST and CEM survey through utilization of MAPP
- Work with department managers to resolve customer issues
- Remain current on parts and service training
- Assist AM to set up customers for fleet training
- Follow up on parts orders and truck repairs to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Other duties as assigned by management
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma required
- Ability to establish credibility and build strong relationships
- Familiar with creating and implementing a successful sales plan
- Clear understanding of the language specific to the truck industry
- Must possess and use good interpersonal skills and can interact well with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a positive and constructive manner
- Strong customer service skills
